FemToba Film Chat with Rhayne Vermette

Our October FemToba Film Chat is with Rhayne Vermette! Her debut feature, Ste. Anne, recently won Best Canadian Feature at TIFF, as well as screening at Berlinale, NYFF, and more! Rhayne is a director and visual artist born in Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba. It was while studying architecture at the University of Manitoba that she fell into the practices of image making and storytelling. Primarily self taught, her films are opulent collages of fiction, animation, documentary, reenactments and divine interruption. http://rhaynevermette.com/films/

Excited to chat with Rhayne over zoom October 28 at 7PM! Questions and discussion will be encouraged by microphone or in the chat box. We’ll be audio recording for a potential FemToba Film Chats podcast.
